Hence, generally a phone having the ring holder may not get charged efficiently or will not get charged at all.

Some phone covers are available with rings incorporated in them. But their compatibility with wireless charging is again doubtful.

These type of ring covers are more than 4 mm thick and severely disturbs the wireless charging process.

Also, if the rings are metallic, they could again disrupt the electromagnetic induction process of wireless charging.
